Delsin-like hypnotism in the cascading hihat polyrhythms and minimal yet pulsating bassline for the track “Appease” by D&S. Of course, as the title indicates, the electro spine exists, but it’s the textual layering over top that makes the track so transcendent—a sea of Detroit pads and LFO notches give the track a nuance that just grooves beyond electro.
