Barbo$$a’s ‘Goen On’ is a vintage-sounding cut of old school aesthetics, the likes of which could just as easily have been produced in the late 80s during house music’s halcyon era.Barbo$$a is the alias of Paride Armenise, a 27-year-old born and raised in Bari, South Italy who boats releases on discerning labels such as Salt Mines and Cactus Traxx. Characterised by a killer vocal sample and filled with smile-inducing vibes and trembling base kicks plenty, it’s indicative of a producer who seems destined for the top.
